Because I am.
Between pumping mush thru the cat's feeding tube 4 times a day, my 8-6 job, studying for tests & helping hosting a BBQ Fest, the kitchen has fallen by the wayside and it is getting on my nerves BIG TIME.
So I thought at least I can get a stupid doorbell. That would be some house progress. This weekend, I find one I like. I get Marc to agree to it. Then all the sudden Monday morning, the company's website is gone. I call the US distributor and OF COURSE, they don't have this doorbell in Satin Nickel finish yet because it is new and it comes from the UK. They don't expect to have it for months.
Why universe? Why? What did I do to deserve this stagnation? Is it the posting of dead cat photos on my blog? Is it all that smack that I talked about the previous owner? Is it all the crap that I've been giving Marc about not finishing the drywall?
Something has gotta happen and soon. It might be time to bring back my Dad.

Strangely enough I too have posted pictures of a dead cat, and our kitchen isn't finished. Maybe there is some sort of connection between the two. However, we did get Kitchen countertops and the dishwasher installed this weekend. Now if only we can a stove, then we could actually cook at home.
