From the West to the Blue Mountains (just like us)

1/6/09

Our new table, as promised.
This table has a fun little story with it too. We bought it from a friend who is bravely selling all his belongings and moving to Africa. He had it made by artists friends when he lived in Sante Fe. It is made of Alder wood and has this crazy knot that looks like a steer head. Pretty awesome.

Not to mention it is 9 feet long. I told Marc that we must eat all our dining sitting at the heads like the King & Queen.

In addition to this momento from our Tunisia-bound friend, we have a pair of his dental teeth molds. I need to get a photo of those.
We will miss you S.B., but wish you all the best on your adventure!

  2. Yea! I'm not the only one w/teeth molds, haha! Very cool table. You need to get some elaborate high back chairs while the king and queen eat!

  4. Bun, I can totally see you and the Stanster eating at the table like a king and queen. And DentaLori is right... you need some fancy ass chairs to complete the look.

Ummm do you think it says something when your friends can picture you eating like royalty?
