So, we retooled our budget after the good news of the refi and put some projects on hold until we are no longer operating in the red (e.g.: countertops, cooktop, new bathroom, etc.). We also gave up a lot of "stuff". Like internet for my phone, our cable tv, our YMCA memberships, etc.
We will continue to do little things that don't cost too much $$. Like painting the non-scary room.
I always wanted this room to be white but now that it is, I hate it. I'm thinking of going for an indigo blue, what do you think?

i like the third option - i'm hoping to paint our guest bedroom a very dark blue gray color, so i think i just have dark blues on my mind right now... but i think the color would look great with your white woodwork and the floor!
ReplyDeleteI hate blue generally, but I like mesmerize. My feeling is that with really good blues, they either need to be very light almost grey, or toward the darker end. The middle can get too cold, I think.
