Life is too short to not drive awesome cars!

(UPDATED W/ CLASSIC CAR PHOTOS!)

I am the daughter of a man who owns 7 cars.

And I just heard about the new Mini Countryman. (Funny enough, it was emailed to me by another one of my sisters! Hey, cars are in our blood!) Check it out. So awesome.

It will come out in the US January 2011 and then I will buy it.
It is not my fault. I am my father's daughter after all.
We might have to start on this garage building sooner than we thought.

(and the 7 are: silverado, grand am, terrain, nova, mustang, 442, monte carlo, & cavalier)

  1. I grew up in the 60's, early 70's and spent a LOT of time around gearheads. You can't, just CAN'T, list cars like 442, grand am, nova, mustang & monte carlo without listing what year! And pics would be even be sweeter! ;)

  2. ok, ok. I was actually thinking the same thing. I'll have to double check with the old man on these but this is close. These are the classics:

'64 Nova. It is a red convertible that my dad redid for my mom. Unbelievably sweet car.
'67 Mustang. I bought this car in Arizona. It is being rebuilt right now.
'73? 442. This is technically my sister and brother-in-laws car.
    '85? Monte Carlo.

I'll try to add pics of the Nova and the Mustang. I think I have some of those two.

  3. I LOVE my 2003 Mini Cooper S. I will buy a new one some day when my current one dies. It has 90,000 miles on it and is still going strong!

  4. Ohhh, thank you! Your dad sounds kind of like mine, except my dad didn't keep his, unfortunately. He always traded them in. We had a Chevy II, 2 Mustangs, LeMans, Malibu, Firebird Formula, those are the ones I can think of right off the top of my head. GAWD, what I would give to have even one of those now.

  5. We had a Nova when I was little! I always thought that car was so cool.

  6. Nikki this is the old man, the nova is a 1962 conv. The 442 is a 67, the mustang is a 67 coupe. I sold the monte-carlo. The 442 is also a conv, with a 400 cu in ,350 horse power automatic transmission.

  7. I love your "old man". After he posted the years, I went to Google images, typed them in & proceeded to drool all over my keyboard. And now I get to see what you actually have - thank you! I have a serious case of car envy.
