I give the following excuses:
I have the world's most adorable baby and I spend all my free time admiring and playing with her.
- We went on a 11 day tour of the Midwest this month.
- It has been hot here. Really, oppressively hot. Too hot to do any housework.
- Tuna is sick. We fear this might be the beginning of the end. She spent our Midwest Tour at the vet's being boarded, tested and monitored. She has some sort of lung infection. We find out next week if it is getting better or worse.
- My sister Heather did not just have a sore back and legs. She had a massive, scary blood clot. Poor thing has had to spend the last month on the couch at my parent's house. Which isn't fun when you have 3 very active little boys to mind.
Good thing is we did get the 3rd countertop shipment. Funny how we couldn't wait to install the first shipment, but now that we are on our third shipment, we've let it languish on the back porch for the last 21 days. We will, however be installing it either tonight, tomorrow or Friday with the help of our nice contractor neighbor.
Also, I was asked what our exterior colors were by a commenter. I searched and guess I have never posted them before, so here goes.

- Upper: Emminent Bronze SW6412 (solid color stain)
- Lower: Escapade Gold SW6403 (solid color stain)
- Trim: Acestral Gold SW6407 (semi-gloss ext paint, I think)
- Sashes: Black Bean SW6006 (semi-gloss ext paint, I think)
