Marc does not.
One thing we do agree on is that is a light bulb hog.
I tried to count the number of bulbs, but I got dizzy. Wait, I looked it up and it is 24 lights.
At $5 for a 3-pack of bulbs, that's $40 worth of bulbs AND 24 incandescents worth of energy.
| (And yes, I did consider unscrewing a bulb because "three" rhymes with "see" for the title.) |
So we made an agreement.
When all the bulbs burn out, we would get a new, more rational light fixture.
This time Marc gets to choose.
We will be selling this bad boy. It is currently discontinued, but I found it here for $270.
Let me know in the comments if you are interested in buying ours.

I love hearing that other people make these kind of agreements as well. (I would just keep replacing one bulb because I am stubborn like that.)
ReplyDeleteYes! The last bulb is burning in our horrible dining room light fixture so we finally get to replace it! We've kept it for years and I think everyone thought we were weird waiting around for bulbs to burn out. Glad to know we're not alone.
