The final frontier in the closet make-over was my jewelry box. (I swear I took a before picture of my jewelry box, but I cannot seem to locate it.)
Marc gave me this awesome green leather box years ago. As of late: imagine a huge tangle of earrings, necklaces and bracelets sitting on top like a big tumbleweed.
I am a work from home mom, and for me a good day is remembering to brush my teeth, like I need a clutter obstacle between me and accessorizing.
Anyway, last night two bottles of beer and I sat down and organized my jewelry. It looked all nice and need until I realized that with everything stacked on top of each other I STILL wasn't going to be able to find anything and would soon end up with a tumbleweed again.
Before: organized stacks. After: Roomy minus hanging earrings.
And then I remembered a trick I've seen on a million blogs before. The earring holder!

Wassup super organized closet!
Check and mates. Totes.
(The "totes" is a shout out for Stacey.)
p.s. Two bottles of beer and I watched the movie Tiny Furniture. I liked it, oh wait, I feel weird saying that. Is it ok to like that movie? I think I did. One thing is for certain: That wasn't a pipe, but I'll never look at a sheet metal tube laying in a vacant lot the same ever again.
