Since she has been sleeping in a "big girl bed" for almost 7 months now, it's about time I showed y'all her transitioned room right?

We already did a similar to our Malm bed frame, so we did it to her bed to adapt it for a modern mattress.

This bed was my grandparents and was originally a rope and straw mattress bed. Cool, right? We got Franca an ikea mattress and the nicer slat base system, but it was slightly too narrow for the bed frame.
The side rails of this bed were just the ugly metal ones, so Marc did a slightly different detail of sistering on a 1x4 AND a 1x2, then I upholstered the whole thing so we wouldn't see the ugly metal side rails with now exposed fasteners.
