On cold days like this, I miss our cat Tuna.
Ask Franca what she is most excited about for our new house?
"I get 5 cats!"
Um, we are going to start with one, but still I can't wait.
In my cat-longing state, I even let the neighbor cat hang out inside for a couple of hours this morning.
She moved around the house, snoozing in one sunny spot and then the next.
She sat attentively while Franca read her a book.
She quizzically watched Mina pendulate in her swing from the changing table (while I watched from the office's open door).
Hope you have a great weekend.
If you have a cat, give it a snuggle from us.

aww. I will!!!
ReplyDeletemy cats looove blankets, so when it's cold and have a blanket, you will also get at least one (if not both) of the cats. i fully plan on spending at least part of my weekend on the couch with all of the animals!
ReplyDeleteexciting that you are thinking of getting a cat - i was really hestitant to get our puppy murphy after reese, but i'm so happy with that decision. although 5 cats at once might be a little much :-)
I have hugged my cat today because she will accept nothing less. Normally she would be on the bed with me, but she decided I'm moving around too much and went to sleep on the couch. I assume that's where she is, anyway; she's usually in the same room as I am although she could be sleeping on a vent upstairs.
ReplyDeleteYour neighbor cat sounds great, and good with kids. Good luck on the search for a new cat!
I love and miss Tuna. Oscar and Dewey fill in admirably, but nothing beats the cat that will let you know when enough is enough. Yet still can melt your heart with a spot of drool.
