Nikki Super Sunday

I hate the Super Bowl.

I really hate the Super Bowl 
when it falls on my birthday.

But you know what I do like? 
The fact that I have friends who indulge me with a Nikki Super Sunday party 
every time MY day and THAT day coincide.

*In architecture school in Tucson it was with a {smashed} ice cream cake and Bob the builder party favors.

**Last time it was with a hermit crab mock super bowl on the beach in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

***This time, we will be at home eating ribs and flank steak, drinking wine and gossiping.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm a very lucky lady. I mean, my husband stayed up until 3am one night secretly drawing and rendering this mock logo for me.


He even found the exact font the real logo used. 
Now, if that is not love, I don't want to know what is!

  1. You hate the Super Bowl?!?!? OMG I love it! Your non-bowl menu sounds wonderful. We're having ground turkey/hoison sloppy joe's, salsa, guacamole and homemade root beer float ice cream. Baby will get a tasty dinner!
