Bathroom at 85%

3/5/13

I was going to wait until it was 100% and do some glamour shots, but I'll post these teasers anyway.

It is absolutely amazing to not have to shower in the clawfoot and not have to walk upstairs to use the bathroom. The best part though? NO MORE TRAINING POTTIES! Yippee! (I'm fully aware that we could have just made Franca walk upstairs to go, but imagine how fun that is with a newborn.)

And yes, both the door and window are frosted for privacy! The door was Marc's idea. We bought it at Habitat and I frosted it with the film after a failed attempt to etch the glass.
I love how it lets light into the small "mudroom".

We decided to not spend the $400 to do a glass panel for the shower. I'm on the fence whether I'm ok with that or not, but since we are selling, we opted not to do it.

We still need to:

Install radiator
Install mirror above sink
Touch up paint
Oil window and door frame
Install floor base boards
Install hooks and shelf in "mudroom"

Just for fun, I made this little sign for above the sink where the mirror should be:

We are hoping to wrap it all up this week, then move on to the kitchen.
The goal is to list the house by the end of March!

    1. I wish I would have remembered to do it before Franca's bday party though!

  2. Glass doors are never a good idea in the long run. Hard to clean. We took both sets of ours out when we bought the house and just put in those curved hotel shower rods - so much nicer! The bathroom looks amazing, congrats!!
